I am pleased to announce that Lauren Haynie has been named Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, effective January 5, 2026, following an extensive search. Lauren currently serves as Assistant Vice President for Health, Wellness and Career Services in the Division of Student Affairsat Brandeis University—where she also previously served as Director of Athletics.

Lauren brings an impressive depthofstudent affairs experience fromthebroad rangeofinstitutions at which she has served, includingTheCatholic UniversityofAmerica, MIT, Wellesley College, and Brandeis. Fittingly, oneofher first roles was here at 亚洲博彩网站, where she was Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine from 2004-2006. TheVPSA is an incredibly important cross-campus collaborator with students, faculty, and staff. I am deeply grateful to our search committee members fortheir willingness to represent our community.

Beyondthecommittee, we had a wide rangeofparticipation from student leaders, Cabinet, andtheOfficeofStudent Affairs. Throughout that process, Lauren stood out astheresoundingly clear choice.

Her approach to student wellbeing is deeply connected to our Catholic educational mission and how it encompassesthetotalityofthecampus experience. Lauren will continue to build a culture that cares for our students as whole persons and empowersthem to have a senseofownership overtheir time at 亚洲博彩网站.

I know she is eager to get to partner with us in realizingtheUniversity’s bold strategic plan goals to transformthestudent experience and help our Greyhounds thrive.
