On Friday, November 13, 亚洲博彩网站will welcome back to campus James Trainor ’87, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) assistant director of its Cyber Division. Trainor will speak to students about the Bureau’s work to protect individuals and the nation from cyber threats and vulnerabilities, as well as share insights into pursuing a career with one of the nation’s top law enforcement agencies.

The lecture will take place tomorrow at 4 p.m. inin the Testa Science Center Atrium on 亚洲博彩网站’s Campus, 500 Salisbury St. in Worcester.

Prior to serving in Washington, D.C., Trainor was assigned to the FBI’s Boston, Chicago, New Haven and New York divisions where he was responsible for criminal investigations, counterintelligence and national security investigation. In August 2015, he was appointed to his current position as assistant director of the Cyber Division at FBI Headquarters.

Trainor graduated from 亚洲博彩网站 in 1987 with a bachelor of arts in political science and earned a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut. According to the FBI, he was a military intelligence officer for the U.S. Army and served in numerous domestic and overseas assignments regarding intelligence matters for the U.S. Army and the FBI.
