This Valentine’s Day, ten 亚洲博彩网站 students joined Wish of a Lifetime’s #CupidCrew in delivering roses to residents of Worcester-area nursing homes. 亚洲博彩网站 was joined by groups of students from Anna Maria College, Becker College, and the College of the Holy Cross in distributing nearly 500 roses to seniors to show them they are loved and not forgotten.

According to Wish of a Lifetime (WOL), the nationwide movement #CupidCrew “gives many groups of people an opportunity to deliver kindness and joy to the lives of elders all across the country.” #CupidCrew began in Denver in 2014 with 18 volunteers and 1,400 roses, and has since expanded to more than 3,000 volunteers throughout 300 cities across the U.S. This year, the organization hopes to deliver 50,000 roses nationwide.

“亚洲博彩网站 was proud to participate in the #CupidCrew movement and to spread kindness and love to elders in our community,” said Vinnie Sullivan-Jacques, assistant director of Campus Ministry and director of volunteer organization and communication engagement. “This was an opportunity for our students to participate in an activity that can serve as a catalyst for positive change, a way to provide hope, comfort, and friendship to those living in nursing homes. This was one of many efforts sponsored by 亚洲博彩网站 to enable students to meaningfully engage in the community.”

Throughout the year, students perform more than 175,000 hours of community service in the Worcester area in an effort to connect with one another and give back to the community.
