Since 2018, Meneses has been the first female classical guitarist to advocate for the rich traditions of Son Jarocho, blending its dynamic rhythms with her classical guitar mastery. Supported by a grant from The Boston Foundation, she has been pivotal in promoting this vibrant style of Mexican music, which includes dance, singing, and the unique playing of the Jarana and Requinto.
